HGV Driver

13.50 per hour

We are expanding our team in West Yorkshire and are currently hiring HGV Drivers to join our fleet.

As an HGV Driver at Ashcourt West Yorkshire, you will be contracted to work 40 hours per week. Overtime is paid at a rate of 19.50 per hour for any hours worked beyond the first 45.

Key responsibilities:

To operate HGV Cat C vehicles, following all HGV driver & traffic laws To operate the vehicle safely and professionally To drive long or short distances as required To help plan schedules & routes with your line manager To follow traffic reports and adapt routes as necessary To conduct accurate & thorough pre-use defect/cleanliness inspections of your vehicle To complete proof of deliveries on a tablet To ensure vehicle cab is kept in a clean & tidy condition

As a Driver at Ashcourt, you will have:

A valid HGV Cat C license Tachograph card CPC Qualification A minimum of 1 years' experience as a HGV/Tipper driver Maximum of 6 points on your licence Valid right to work in the UK
