Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires strong communication skills and a good understanding of mechanical operations related to the vehicle. Experience with flatbed, van driving, or as a delivery driver is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Transport goods to various locations as per delivery schedules. Load and unload safetly Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle to uphold company standards.

Experience

Previous experience as a tipper driver or Delivery driver is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.

A valid commercial hgv licence is essential for this role. Excellent communication skills are necessary to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
