A great opportunity has arisen to join an established commercial fleet servicing business in Warboys, Cambridgeshire (near Huntingdon & Peterborough), working as a HGV Trailer Fitter / Technician within a friendly and supportive small team.
This is a permanent full-time role (part-time role may be available for the right candidate - please make your interest known in the first instance).

Your normal working hours will be between 07:00 - 18:00 Monday thru Friday with Saturday morning work in line with the needs of the business, ordinarly between the hours of 07:00 - 13:00.
This role is available as a 40 or 45 hour contract to suit.

About the job -
You will be joining a small friendly team within a fair sized commercial workshop environment.
Your role will include -
As a HGV Trailer Fitter / Technician you will be working alongside other experienced technicians on customer's vehicles in the area of maintenance, servicing and repair, both within a commercial workshop environment and off-site at customers own premises.
The job will involve the repair and service of vehicles to very high standards.
- Carrying out maintenance and repair of HGV & LGV vehicles and trailers.
- MOT preparation and full vehicle servicing
- Undertaking roadworthiness inspections of vehicles in operational use
- Other services including tyres, brakes, diagnosis, welding
- Scheduling of repairs and ordering / receiving of parts
- Administration tasks within the workshop
- Provide good customer satisfaction and to work both effectively and safely within a team

- The ability to help and aid in further development of apprenticeship staff
- The ability to complete work in a timely manner, whilst maintaining high standards
- Good customer service and communication skills
- An awareness of health and safety regulations within a workshop environment
- Good manual and practical skills
- Technically and practically minded
- Logical thinker
You'll also be hard working, flexible, have good attention to detail and adaptable.
Relevant qualifications and certifications are preferred, but not essential. Applicable experience within the industry, skills and attitude will also be taken into account.
