HIAB Driver / Electrician's Assistant

to join our Street Lighting team. You'll be part of a crew that ensures North Yorkshire's roads are well-lit and safe for everyone.

What You'll Do

Operate LGV Class 2 vehicles with HIAB attachments Assist electricians with installing lighting columns and connection pits Carry out excavation and reinstatement using asphalt, flags, and block paving Manage traffic risks and maintain safe working environments Stay active with hands-on tasks every day

What We're Looking For

LGV Class 2 licence (or higher) Experience with HIAB equipment (or willingness to learn) A practical, safety-first approach and team spirit Previous highways or street lighting experience is a bonus - but not essential
