This role is pivotal in supporting our ambitions to provide advocacy for our High Needs students ensuring the best possible experience at the College through significant contribution to the delivery of the academies:

Main Responsibilities:



Support Student Transition by assisting allocated High Needs students in their transition to college, ensuring a smooth enrolment and induction process. Provide advocacy for High Needs students, focusing on key areas like attendance, punctuality, engagement, mental health, and safeguarding. Facilitate 'Early Insights' interventions for students post-enrolment, recording all activities on relevant college systems. Conduct 1:1 or small group interventions and develop Positive Engagement Plans to support and monitor student behaviour and performance. Promote student involvement in enrichment activities by liaising with cross-college resources and encouraging student participation. Collaborate with the safeguarding team and undertake welfare calls to absent students or their families, ensuring their safety and well-being. Participate in disciplinary processes and reintegration meetings as required, supporting High Needs students through restorative justice measures. Attend EHCP review meetings, assist the EHCP Coordinator, and maintain regular communication with parents, carers, and relevant staff regarding student progress and needs. Engage in daily meet-and-greet activities, provide lunchtime supervision, and help ensure students safely enter and leave the college campus.

As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of between 28,207 - 32,917 per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge and experience that you can bring to the role.
