As High-Rise Team Leader, you'll be at the heart of delivering a safe, responsive, and people-focused service for our residents. Leading a team of 12 dedicated High-Rise Living Coordinators, you'll inspire high performance and ensure our buildings are places where residents feel supported and respected.
You'll oversee day-to-day operations across our 2 high-rise blocks (De Montfort House and Elizabeth House) -- ensuring health and safety standards are met, contractors are welcomed and supervised, and any incidents or emergencies are handled swiftly and effectively. With a proactive approach, you'll spot early signs of risk, work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, and drive continuous improvements in the way we manage our homes.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your visibility, decisiveness, and commitment to resident wellbeing will set the standard for your team and the service we deliver.
You'll play an active part in supporting service continuity, stepping in when needed to cover occasional shifts in emergency situations or during unavoidable absences. Our on-call rota is shared across a supportive leadership team, including the Localities Operations Manager and High-Rise Officer, ensuring a collaborative approach to keeping our residents safe and supported.
This role combines people leadership with operational responsibility, giving you scope to influence service standards, build strong partnerships, and support the development of a new service model. You'll also lead on local resident engagement, manage day-to-day team activity, and act as a key liaison between residents, teams, and senior managers.
