Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Maths Faculty)
Scale 6 - 26,409 - 27,711 (pro-rata)
Progression to Scale 8 on completion of HLTA qualification.
8am - 4pm Monday - Friday: Term-Time only
We are seeking to appoint a HLTA to support students both in class and to deliver interventions to small groups within the school/SEND/Maths faculty.
Applications are invited from people who have the following skills & experience:Enthusiasm and a desire to learn;
The ability to encourage students to become independent;
Planning and delivering Numeracy/Maths to small groups across KS3 and KS4
Knowledge of a range of SEND profiles and how to support them
Leading small groups, supporting student's personalised learning programmes
Line managing a small team in the day-to-day planning and deployment.
Applicants will need to have had experience as a Learning Associate/Teaching Assistant. Applicants should be prepared to provide personal care for students with disabilities.
