who are motivated and friendly, with a passion for improving outcomes and life experiences for our pupils in the school with Specific Learning Disabilities and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities needs.
You will need to be passionate and creative as well as resilient with a significant sense of fun. Play is an important part of the therapeutic approach. Your role is to facilitate access to learning for SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) pupils across the school. You will certainly get your steps in as our site is quite expansive. You will support teaching and learning, working with small groups and one to one as required. This is a challenging role but incredibly rewarding as part of a team which works together to make a real difference to the lives of our children with SEND.
You will be expected to work between the hours of 8.45am - 3.15pm with a half an hour unpaid lunch and you will be expected to attend 1 hour of training on Mondays after school time and a half an hour team meeting on Thursdays after school time.

maintain confidentiality
have a desire to participate in school and trust Continuous Professional Development opportunities
have an awareness of Safeguarding
have a willingness to contribute to the wider school through our curriculum, enrichment and extended school offer.
You will need the following qualifications:
SEND Experience (preferable)
Grade C /4+ Maths and English.
Good level of computer literacy
