About this Role

Term-Time + Training Days. Part Time 17.5 hours per week, Wednesday from 10am, All day Thursday and Friday.



We are looking for a calm, consistent, and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team!

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive and welcoming school community. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player who shares our core values of kindness, respect, and a commitment to excellence in education.

As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and a genuine passion for helping children thrive both academically and personally. You will work closely with our supportive team to deliver high-quality, targeted support, including for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Rossett Acre Primary School , part of the Red Kite Learning Trust is a thriving two-form entry primary school located on the south side of Harrogate, with a vibrant community of over 400 pupils. About You



To be a good fit for this role, you will be;

Adaptable and flexible - ready to support different classes, subjects, and respond to changing need Confident in curriculum knowledge - understanding learning goals and how to support them effectively Able to use their initiative - working independently, leading groups, and taking responsibility when needed. Empathetic and supportive - understanding pupil needs, managing behaviour positively, and building strong relationships.
