Job Description

Source Supply are working with a school in Stockton to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis from January 2026.

Working across all key stages, the ideal candidate will be an experienced HLTA who is confident leading groups, managing behaviour and works well as part of a busy, successful team. It would also be advantageous if the successful applicant had a background in teaching music and/or IT.

Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

- Hold a minimum Level 4 qualification in supporting teaching and learning

- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.

- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.

- Be comfortable supporting the class teacher to deliver a range of lessons.

- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.

- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
