About this Role
Salisbury Road Primary School are looking for a passionate and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Inclusion) to join our friendly and dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children with SEND and additional needs.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Inclusion) you will work collaboratively with the SENCO to plan and deliver high quality bespoke interventions, facilitate small group work and provide individual support as required.
You will work closely with the SENCO to:
Plan and deliver bespoke interventions for pupils with SEND and EHCPs.
Support small groups and individual learners, primarily in KS1 and Lower KS2.
Lead learning activities, monitor progress, and contribute to IEPs and EHCP reviews.
Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families to create an inclusive learning environment.
Provide short-term cover when required and line-manage designated support staff.
We are looking for Higher Level Teaching Assistants who:
GCSE English & Maths (Grade C or above) and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Experience working in a primary school across KS1 and KS2
Strong understanding of SEND and effective teaching strategies
Ability to plan and lead learning activities independently
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding
