Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
to join their team at the Peile Centre, based in Ipswich. The Peile Centre supports key stage 3 and 4 students with cognition and learning difficulties or moderate learning difficulties (MLD). We work with small groups of students who have EHCPs and require a more personalised level of support than mainstream education alone can offer.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build respectful, trusting relationships with students, families, and colleagues are essential. An understanding of how to promote independence, resilience, and emotional wellbeing in young people is highly valued.
This role would suit someone who is patient, reflective, committed to inclusive practice, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people who need additional support.
We offer a wide range of staff benefits including:
Membership into Local Government Pension Scheme
Family friendly policies and flexible working
Access to our Employee Assistance Programme
