Contract:

35 hours per week, term-time. Fixed term for one year in the first instance, with the possibility of extension.

Salary Grade:

SO1 (spine point 23-25)

Actual Salary:

33,937 - 35,591 per annum

We are looking to appoint an HLTA to take a leading role in supporting a group of key children in an intervention classroom. This is a new role and an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with varied and complex needs.



The successful candidate will lead a small team of learning support assistants under the direction of the SENCo, and with input from teachers and external professionals. They will support children to achieve their individual educational targets and have the ability to deliver consistently high-quality learning experiences.



The successful candidate will have strong experience working with children with SEND, including those with complex needs supported by multi-disciplinary teams. They must have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to contribute to reports and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
