Job Description

Due to an increase in referrals to our service, we are looking to bring new Psychologists into our team with a special focus on

residential homes consultation

and training and specialist assessments.



We are based in

Darlington

with a satellite office in Washington, and are looking to recruit passionate and dedicated Psychologists to deliver highly specialist trauma focused interventions with the aim of improving the mental health of children, their families and those who work and care for them.

The role will also involve being a key part of the further development of our well-established and innovative services in Aspire!

We provide

specialist psychological assessments, formulations and therapeutic interventions

(therapy and consultation) to post-Adoption Support agencies, local authorities and independent residential homes and fostering agencies across the region. We deliver attachment and trauma training to a range of settings from residential homes, to fostering agencies and education provisions.

This current role is specifically for those interested in developing our residential homes services. We currently provide support into 45 homes in the North East with significant demand to increase this.

We require someone with a creative, flexible approach who is willing to go above and beyond for our families, homes and young people. We work hard to provide a service which is sensitive, responsive and consistent and therefore seek individuals to join our team who are able to offer this and who are willing and able to invest in the service and being part of our team.

As well as the pre-requisite of a Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology with excellent knowledge of trauma and attachment, we would also welcome applications from those who have DDP or EMDR qualifications or who are keen to develop in this area.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 54,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
