What You'll Be Doing

As a Lead Highways Operative, you'll:

Carry out skilled tasks such as kerbing, drainage, patching, ironwork, and street furniture installation. Lead a team of two in delivering maintenance projects including paving, asphalt laying, fencing, signage, and vegetation management. Ensure all work meets safety, health, and environmental standards. Support traffic management and general site maintenance. Work flexibly, including some out-of-hours shifts when required.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking candidates with experience in highways or construction, ideally with some of the following qualifications:

Valid LGV Licence Banksman Manual Handling Abrasive Wheels Emergency First Aid Safe Dig Traffic Management (TM1 & TM2)

This is a physically active, outdoor role - so a good level of fitness is important. Full PPE and weather-appropriate clothing will be provided.
