What you'll be doing



To supervise and manage all resources engaged in planned and reactive maintenance and elements of incident response.


Identifying and allocating appropriate resources to ensure deliver of operations to programme. Ensuring Construction Phase Plans, method statements and risk assessments are appropriate and available for all planned works. Carrying out site visits to ensure that work is being carried out safely, to the required standards and to programme. Ensuring accurate records of works carried out on daily allocation sheets and maintain accurate records and as built details if required. Briefing gangs via site specific daily task briefings, regular tools box talks and safety briefings. Ensuring PPE is being worn in accordance with RAMS. Carrying out measurements and providing support to commercial team as required. Supervising sub contractors, ensuring operatives have necessary training to ensure they work safely and to the required standard. Ensuring employees accurately record use of vibration equipment to ensure recommended levels are not exceeded.


Who we're looking for



CITB 5 day SMSTS Full UK Driving Licence. Experience of Highways Maintenance contracts. Competency in use of Microsoft packages and interpersonal skills. Team management skills. Commercial Awareness. Basic programming ability. Excellent organisation and communications skills in emergency and winter service delivery rotas. Self-motivated and proactive in delivery solutions. Experience of performance monitoring. Detailed knowledge of operational techniques.
