The Role





As a Technical Assistant, reporting direct to the Area Manager you will:


Provide technical assistance to Highway Operation teams Contribute to the delivery of effective highway works through tasks as assigned by the Area Manager and identified through target setting and monitoring, performance appraisal and development and training Management interrogation and co-ordination of complex databases and spread sheets Production of presentation quality maps, plans and technical drawings Contribute to the data collection to develop the revenue and capital scheme delivery Organising, preparation and implementation of permanent and temporary Traffic Regulation Orders as assigned

Have strong analytical skills Be an excellent communicator Have good decision-making skills Be able to prioritise and organise their own workload as well as being able to work well within a busy team environment.
