Hire Controller - Construction Equipment Hire

We are looking for a hire desk professional from a tool, plant, access, or any other equipment hire background, who wants to develop their career and help us grow our business.

What will I be doing?



As part of a depot-based office team, you will look after our customers and coordinate our service delivery, working closely with our workshop, warehouse and driving teams. You will be involved in all the following activities:

Answering the phone and responding to emails/messages Dealing with customers at the trade counter Helping, giving advice, solving problems, and building relationships Processing orders on our computer system and general administration Monitoring stock levels and organising equipment transfers from other depots Ordering equipment with suppliers and researching new items Organising deliveries and collections into driver schedules/runs

What do I need?



A proven track record of providing great customer service, ideally in hire or a construction-related industry The enthusiasm to learn about our business and range of equipment The ability to multi-task, working quickly and accurately under pressure A good level of numeracy, literacy and IT skill A sense of humour
