We're Hiring - Hire Controller | Elgin
Full Time | 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday (with occasional Saturday mornings)

We're looking for a Hire Controller to join our team in Elgin. This is a varied and hands-on role, covering everything from managing equipment hire and handling counter sales to supporting our sales team and liaising with the workshop.
What You'll Be Doing
Acting as the first point of contact at the hire counter -- helping customers in person, over the phone and by email. Creating and completing hire contracts accurately and efficiently. Supporting the sales team with quotes, pricing, and product knowledge. Handling counter sales and identifying opportunities to recommend additional products or services. Coordinating the dispatch and return of hire equipment. Communicating with the workshop team regarding damage, servicing and turnaround times. Supporting stock checks, audits and admin to keep things running like clockwork.
What You'll Bring
A friendly, professional approach with strong communication skills. Great attention to detail and the ability to stay organised under pressure. Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft Office. A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to take on new challenges. Experience in a hire, trade counter, logistics, or sales support role would be an advantage -- but we're happy to train the right person.
