AWS is UVDB accredited supplier of licensed standpipes for many UK water utilities and Orbis develops and manufactures non-invasive, IoT technologies for water networks that detect leaks, monitor pipe deterioration, measure water flow and provide tampering alerts.
Overall Purpose
To provide standpipes hire functions, standpipe/GPRS maintenance activities and administrative services for the water company operations in a timely manner adhering to all Company procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
Answer the phone lines on behalf of the water company contracts
Liaise with customers to obtain meter readings and input to system
Process renewals and new applications
Raise invoices and credit notes with the appropriate authorisation
Respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner
GPRS installation and upgrades (eg firmware, solar units)
Standpipe and meter maintenance activities (depot based)
Assess any damage to returned standpipes and record as required
Day-to-day depot operational activities such as standpipe collections, cleaning and racking
Other administrative and technical duties as appropriate
Other Duties
From time-to-time there may be a requirement to assist with the following:
Occasional standpipe deliveries if required - van provided
Support with driver routing and logistics
Skills

Technical hands on capability
Able to use IT systems
Excellent administrative skills
