Responsibilities
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to enhance the educational experience.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour.
Stay updated with current teaching methodologies and educational trends to continuously improve teaching practices.
Foster a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere that respects diversity and promotes equality.
Qualifications
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is essential.
Need a degree in history
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching and supporting student development.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
