Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join one of our partner schools The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic growth. The role will initially start on a supply basis but with a possibility of turning into a permanent role.
Duties
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Assess and evaluate student performance through regular testing and feedback.
Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and respect.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behaviour.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Uphold school policies and contribute to a positive school culture.
Experience
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is essential.
Previous experience in a teaching role is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
