About the role:



Are you passionate about helping young people achieve success in Maths?

We are seeking a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant to deliver targeted intervention and in-class support for Year 11 students at risk of not achieving a grade 5 or above in their GCSE Maths.

In this role, you will:



Deliver structured 1:1 and small group Maths intervention sessions.

Support students within lessons, helping them close gaps in knowledge and boost confidence.

Work closely with teachers to implement strategies that accelerate progress.

Mentor students to develop motivation, resilience, and exam preparation skills.

We are looking for someone with:



Strong subject knowledge in Maths up to GCSE level.

Experience working with secondary students in small group/1:1 settings.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
