McGinley Support Services is currently recruiting for 1 x Hoist Driver to operate a hoist located within a lift shaft on a busy construction site in Birmingham (B36 9DP). This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and safety-focused Hoist Driver to join a high-profile infrastructure project.
? Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Hoist Driver with a valid CPCS A20 Hoist Operator Card and relevant additional training. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the hoist safely and efficiently, ensuring smooth vertical transportation of personnel and materials within the lift shaft.
? Requirements:
CPCS A20 Hoist Operator Card
Additional training relevant to hoist operations
Previous experience working as a Hoist Driver on construction sites
Strong understanding of site safety and lifting protocols
? Key Responsibilities:
Operate the hoist within the lift shaft as a certified Hoist Driver
Ensure safe and timely movement of site personnel and materials
Conduct daily safety checks and report any faults or hazards
Communicate effectively with site teams to coordinate hoist usage
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
