Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated camp leaders to engage with children in a fun, play based environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for working with children, be able to deliver activities geared towards their age group (4-11 year olds) and demonstrate good leadership skills in a busy and fun environment. As a camp leader, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience for all children.

Responsibilities

Lead daily camp activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff. Manage group dynamics, addressing any conflicts or issues that arise promptly and professionally. Supervise children when travelling to and from various locations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations on transport. Maintain a positive environment that encourages participation and teamwork. Monitor the progress of activities, adapting plans as necessary to meet the needs of all children.

Skills

Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and adults alike. Strong leadership abilities, capable of motivating and guiding children through various activities. Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of Playwork principles is an advantage. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a calm demeanour under pressure.
Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
