Holiday Club Supervisor (Childcare Supervisor)
to support our Club Manager and help provide a safe, engaging, and fun environment for all children in our care.
In this role, you will be:
Supporting Daily Operations:
You'll assist in the smooth running of our before-and-after-school provision and holiday camps, helping to maintain high standards of care and activity. You'll step in to lead when the Club Manager is unavailable, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assisting in Team Leadership:
Support the Club Manager in supervising and motivating the team of activity leaders. You'll help maintain a positive, energetic atmosphere and contribute to excellent care for the children.
Helping Build Parent Relationships:
Work alongside the Club Manager to maintain open, friendly communication with parents and carers, and contribute to a warm, welcoming environment.
Promoting Child Safety and Well-being:
Ensure children are safe, engaged, and well cared for, supporting hygiene and safeguarding policies at all times.
Leading and Supporting Activities:
Deliver or support fun, age-appropriate activities that inspire children, making their time at JC Academy exciting and memorable.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Level 3 Childcare Qualification (or equivalent):
Essential for this supervisory role to support high-quality care and step up when needed.
First Aid Certification (desirable):
Training can be provided if not already certified.
Experience with Children:
You should have previous experience working with children aged 4-12 in a childcare or educational setting.
Positive, Supportive Personality:
Be approachable, reliable, and a team player--ready to support both the children and your colleagues.
Modern Mindset:
An understanding of what excites kids today--whether that's YouTube trends or TikTok dance moves--is a bonus!
Ready to Laugh and Play:
Be open to fun, silly moments, and willing to join in the children's humour (even if the jokes don't always make sense!).
A Passion for Child Development:
