Your Role
As Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping the success and growth of PH Camps. You'll oversee the operational planning and delivery of our holiday camps, ensuring excellence in safety, quality and customer experience across multiple locations. You'll also lead and develop teams, nurture strong relationships with partners and help drive continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a small team of 4-5 people responsible for the planning and organisation of resources and marketing in the lead up to each school holiday period.
Build and maintain positive relationships with 13 host venues.
Plan and coordinate timetables and staff rotas for all 13 venues.
Interact and maintain positive relationships with parents and stakeholders responding to queries and feedback in a professional, solutions-focused manner..
Ensure day-to-day operational excellence from the team - compliance, health and safety, quality assurance and communication.
Lead the recruitment, training and performance of staff, ensuring consistency in delivery and compliance.
Motivate, coach and mentor team members to achieve excellence across our holiday camps.
Be involved in the design and delivery engaging training programmes (e.g. Introduction to Camps, Safeguarding, Health & Safety etc.).
Work alongside our Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring robust implementation of policies and procedures.
Sit on our SEND Inclusion Group to help design and implement care plans for children.
Identify opportunities to grow the PH Camps brand and improve customer experience.
Drive innovation of our holiday camps programme including activities, marketing and operating procedures.

About You
Experienced in line managing people
Excellent organiser with the ability to manage multiple sites and priorities.
Confident leader who motivates others and sets clear expectations.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and compliance.
Skilled communicator, both written and verbal, with a focus on collaboration and problem solving.
Calm under pressure, decisive and solution-focused.
Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
Desirable:
Experience in Ofsted-registered settings.
Qualifications in Education, Sports Management or related field.
Leadership experience within childcare, education, or activity-based settings.
