Holiday Club Assistant - Brackenfield School, Harrogate

We are seeking enthusiastic staff to assist at our holiday club at Brackenfield School on an ongoing basis (October half-term, Christmas period, Easter etc). There is also the option for further employment to cover clubs during the year.

Applicants will ideally have a background in working with children either through work experience, volunteering or study. The ideal candidate will be a student, trainee teacher or teacher. Anyone else with experience in working with children will be considered.

As a club assistant you will have great energy, an infectious sense of fun, strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children.

You will assist and lead fun activities for children during the week including sport, camp games and crafts. This will involve being hands on and getting fully involved with the wide range of activities.

Assistants will also be responsible for ensuring that the camps behaviour and safeguarding policies are followed at all times.

Key Information

The Holiday Club will run over October half term (Monday 20th October), Christmas, Easter and Summer

The camp will run from approximately 9am till 4pm, staff arrive by 8.30am.

You will be paid the National Living Wage

A DBS check will be required
