We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Holiday Club Assistant to support our team in providing exceptional care and educational experiences for children during teh Summer school holidays. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and the ability to manage various tasks effectively while fostering a nurturing environment. This role requires strong communication skills in English and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way.
This is a temporary role during Summer School Holidays.
Duties
Assist in the daily operations of the holiday club, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
Manage classroom activities, including planning and implementing educational programmes that promote learning through play.
Drive children to various activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and daily activities.
Provide leadership support to other staff members, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the holiday club setting, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Engage with children in activities that promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Experience
Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable.
Familiarity with managing groups of children in a nursery or educational setting is an advantage.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire both children and colleagues.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
A genuine passion for working with children and contributing positively to their development.

Monday 21st July 2025 - Thursday 24th July
Monday 28th July - Thursday 31st July
8.30am - 1.30pm each day
