About us

We run a number of childcare services across the county including Holiday Clubs, Breakfast Clubs, Afterschool Clubs, and Preschools. All profits from our childcare services are donated to our charitable arm to support disadvantaged young people across the county.

About the role



The Holiday Club Lead Worker will support the coordination and development of our

Ofsted registered Holiday Club that runs from The Scott Centre in Andover.

To plan and deliver, with a team of staff and volunteers, a range of stimulating activities during school holidays for children aged 4 - 13 in a childcare setting and develop working relationships with parents and carers.

Our Holiday Club offers a variety of themed days at our Centre and exciting trips between 8am and 6pm during all school holidays

About you



Qualifications:



Qualification in Early Years, Playwork, Teaching or Youth Work an advantage

Experience:



Minimum of 3 years working with children and young people Experience of delivering a range of activities to children and young people Experience of leading a team

Knowledge:



Understanding of Safeguarding children and young people Understanding of the principles and practices of equality and diversity Understanding of health and safety and safe working practice when working with children and young people Understanding of the importance of play to the development of children and young people

Essential Skills & Competencies:



Ability to positively engage with children and young people. Ability to deal positively with challenging behaviour. Ability to work well within a team.
