Outdoor Education underpins our entire curriculum and ethos at Kingwood Children. Set in 14 acres of beautiful grounds and benefiting from its own outdoor classroom with an abundance of opportunities for development, Muddifords Court offers something really unique for when school is out. With a variety of animals for the children to learn about, look after and enjoy, there is plenty of adventures for school age children in our holiday camp.

Our Practitioners are the backbone of Kingwood Children - they bring their knowledge, experience and natural enthusiasm to deliver outstanding teaching and learning, enabling children to achieve their full potential. We encourage our team to work collaboratively and in an inclusive style to meet the needs of all children and ages. It goes without saying that all of our team should be able to build and maintain strong relationships with our children and their families, and to foster a love of the outdoors and the magic of the natural world.

Do you have experience, qualifications or are training in Outdoor Education, Forest School or Animal Education and the following qualities...

- Planning, preparation and facilitating of stimulating activities that embrace nature and the outdoors.

- Teach new skills and inspire a knowledge of nature, plants, woodland, use of tools, cooking, foraging, seasons and crafts.

- Foster a love of the outdoors and nature, exploring the wonderful world around us.

- A love of animals and the passion to bring learning about them into the daily rhythm of the day.

- Communicate with parents via handovers and direct messages.

- Working with parents / carers of children with additional needs in order to facilitate their inclusion into the setting.

- Being accountable for your own development, and seeking out opportunities to learn new skills.
