We're looking for a confident and organised Holiday Club Operations Coordinator to oversee the planning, staffing, and performance of our Parent-funded and HAF-funded holiday club programmes. You'll be responsible for making sure every child has a safe, fun, and engaging experience, while ensuring venues run smoothly and meet all quality and compliance standards.
This is a key leadership role with real scope to grow, influence and progress.
What You'll Be Doing:
Operational Leadership
Oversee all day-to-day operations of our holiday clubs -- from staffing and logistics to resources and activity planning.
Lead and support Club Leaders to consistently deliver high-quality, high-energy childcare and sports sessions.
Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and funding standards (HAF, Ofsted, etc.) are met or exceeded.
Monitor venue setup, delivery quality and site readiness through spot checks, audits and team engagement.
Performance & Growth
Track occupancy and delivery KPIs across all venues.
Collaborate with the marketing team to support booking growth and community engagement.
Identify underperforming venues and support improvement plans.
Manage club budgets for food, resources and staffing within HAF and private frameworks.
People Leadership
Line manage Club Leaders and support their personal development plans.
Lead onboarding and training for seasonal staff.
Build a culture of accountability, positivity, and continuous improvement across all venues.
Stakeholder Management
Be the key operational contact for schools, parents, and local authorities.
Represent Dragon with professionalism, trust and a solutions-first approach.
What We're Looking For:
Experience managing or delivering holiday clubs, after-school clubs, or similar childcare programmes
Proven team leadership across multiple locations (or strong potential to do so)
Strong planning and operational skills -- you know how to run smooth, high-quality services
Confident in safeguarding and compliance - ideally DSL trained or willing to complete
Organised, proactive, and an excellent communicator
Training & Progression
Fully funded Team Leader qualification (Level 3 or 5)
Clear progression route to Operations Manager or CQI & Compliance Manager
