The Role

The main purpose of the job is to work as part of a team to carry out machine and manual cleaning of warehouses and site facilities. We are currently looking to recruit a Holiday Cover Cleaning Operative to cover a number of sites across one of our regions. The list of sites that you will be required to work at and will vary week by week will be:

Northampton, Cambridge, Peterborough, March, Wisbech

Driving licence

The successful candidate will have a maximum of 3 points on their driving licence, ideally we would prefer to see no points, and a full DBS check will also be carried out.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe working environment Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed Use cleaning machines Use of a variety of cleaning equipment and products Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces Cleaning of toilets and communal areas Dusting offices and meeting rooms Vacuuming Report anything in need of repair or replacement Keep designated cleaning areas and spaces clean and tidy at all times and store all cleaning materials safely
