Holiday Park Security Officer

We're looking for a reliable, approachable, and safety-focused

Security Officer

to help keep our guests safe and our holiday park running smoothly.

What you'll be doing:

Patrolling the parks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment Monitoring entry points and controlling vehicle access Responding to incidents promptly and professionally Providing a friendly, reassuring presence for guests and staff Reporting and recording security concerns accurately

Responsibilities

will include;

Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity. Operate and maintain CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive surveillance coverage. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations and reports as necessary. Implement loss prevention processes to minimise theft and damage to property. Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals on site. Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities for management review. Collaborate with Police and Council when necessary and assist with investigations as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in a security role or similar position is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies A confident understanding of alarm systems. Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment. First aid certification is highly desirable; training may be provided for the right candidate. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 36 per week
