About Bungay House
Located just outside Bungay in the peaceful village of Broome, Bungay House has a Good CQC rating -- and ambitions to achieve Outstanding!
We support up to 21 adults with mental health difficulties, encouraging independence, wellbeing, and a full life -- from theatre trips and art sessions to community activities and social events. You'll be joining a warm, positive, and dedicated team that values respect, compassion, and person-centred care.
About the Role
As a Care Home Administrator, you'll be a key member of the team, providing administrative and organisational support to ensure everything runs efficiently behind the scenes. You'll work closely with the management team and support workers, helping to maintain accurate records, smooth communication, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and updating staff records.
Assisting with recruitment.
Handling phone calls, emails, and visitor enquiries.
Supporting with rotas, timesheets, and payroll preparation.
Assisting with invoicing, petty cash, and financial records.
Preparing and maintaining documentation for meetings, audits, and inspections.
Ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism at all times.
Providing general administrative support to the management and care team.

What We're Looking For
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Confident IT and Microsoft Office user.

Experience in a care or healthcare setting is an advantage but not essential -- we'll provide full training for the right person.
