Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistants in Groby to provide essential support to individuals in their homes during evenings only. The ideal candidate will be able to follow care plans effectively. This role requires excellent communication skills in English, as well as the ability to drive and navigate local areas.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
Follow individual care plans to ensure that clients receive the appropriate level of support tailored to their needs.
Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
Document daily activities and any changes in the client's condition accurately and promptly.
Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in home care.
Qualifications
Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
Proficient in English with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is essential for transporting clients.
Experience working in a care home setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential for success in this role.

A comprehensive 4 day training programme in house, followed by shadowing and support from our senior team and office team during the first 12 weeks.
