OVERVIEW
Age Connects North East Wales are seeking a Home Helper in Flintshire to assist with various household tasks and provide support to older clients in maintaining a clean and organised home.

We are looking for part time team members on our Home Solutions team to work 10-20 hours per week. Work is Monday to Friday with flexible start/finish times to suit the team member between 9am and 4:30pm.

The post holder must have full clean driving license and access to a car. They would ideally have cleaning experience and be capable of carrying out the physical aspects of the position and as well as experience of working with older people.

Applicants will be subject to a DBS check prior to starting work.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

General cleaning, such as vacuuming carpets, dusting, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, and changing bedding, laundry and ironing.

Shopping on behalf of or with clients.

Companionship, such as chatting to clients in their own homes or care homes, or taking clients out to the shops, GP surgery, hospital, garden centre or other social activities.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour
