An exciting opportunity has arisen. We are looking for a flexible, dedicated and customer focused individual with excellent communication skills to join our Home Ownership Team to provide a responsive, proactive and customer focused service for existing and potential customers in their home ownership journey. The main responsibilities of this role are:
Management of our shared ownership, leasehold and freehold properties in conjunction with their associated lease and/or conveyance.
To be a point of contact for homeowners, investigate and respond to queries regarding payment of rent, service charges, major and minor works invoices.
To maximise income through effective monitoring and management of homeowners rent & service charge accounts.
Complete Section 20 consultation with homeowners, assist with queries though to invoicing & payments.
Liaise with external and internal customers and a range of 3rd parties in relation to home ownership and sustainment, this will include solicitors, estate agents, surveyors, partner agencies, management companies/agencies and other stakeholders.
What you need to be successful:
Minimum of one years experience in social housing or similar environment with understanding of leases and conveyances.
Experience of collection of rent, service charge arrears and minor/major works invoices is desirable, however training will be provided.
Understanding of service charges estimates and actuals.
Understanding of Section 20 consultation - preparation, processing and dealing with observations made.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Able to communicate clearly and concisely.
You must have a full driving license, ability to travel and the use of a vehicle with business insurance.
