An opportunity has arisen within the Council Housing & Property Services, Home Ownership Team for an enthusiastic individual with relevant work experience to join the team who deliver the Home Ownership and Property Management services in respect of the Right to Buy your Home and Leasehold Service Charges.



PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To process applications in respect of the Right to Buy your Council Property and any other associated schemes whilst ensuring legislative time limits are met in accordance with Part V of the Housing Act 1985. To deal with all aspects of Leasehold management such as LPE1 enquiries and completion statements, subletting requests, and service charge calculations. To assist with producing and raising of Annual Service Charges. To ensure correct recharge allocation to properties for Major Works programmes whilst complying with Section 20 Legislation under the Leasehold Reform Act 2002. To carry out all administrative tasks surrounding these subjects. Ensure the Council meets its statutory obligations in all areas and that the highest standards of probity and good conduct are maintained always. Take collective responsibility for ensuring excellent services are provided to our residents. Ensure our customer service and delivery is excellent and continually improves.
