About The Role





We have an exciting new opportunity for a lawyer to join our Home Sales team undertaking a broad range of work.



The team has extensive experience in residential and mixed-use development site set up, infrastructure, open market and shared ownership plot sales and the lifecycle of shared ownership properties. Our experience has allowed us to structure our team to manage high volume transactions efficiently and effectively whilst keeping costs down for our clients. Our team structure means we can ensure work is undertaken by a suitably qualified team member, with the required knowledge and experience; both in the specific transaction type and our client's preferred ways of working. This structure is supported by our flexible IT systems and streamlined processes.


We act on behalf of several different types of clients. These include national housebuilders, local and regional developers and a number of housing associations and local authorities.



Within the team we have specialised units for each work type. This ensures unit members have a complete understanding of the transactions that they are dealing with and become specialised in that work type. Our systems lend themselves to supporting this structure as we can build in client specific requirements.


We have a large team of over 20 people. The team is led by Partner Kate Saunders and includes a variety of people with different qualifications and specialism


Day to day, you'll be successful in this role by:





We are looking for an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate to work with us. You will have a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience and be excited by the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the work we do. We will ensure that you have a broad range of work which keeps you are engaged and exposed to the many facets of the work the team do.


This role will also develop your technical and client management skills.


There are real opportunities for career development as you gain expertise and build your wider skill set. This will include mentoring and supervising the junior team members.



We will support and actively encourage you to get involved in business development activities and become embedded into your clients as well as nurturing and extending existing client relationships.


It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.

We would like you to have at least 4 years of post-qualification experience gained with a leading property practice.
