Sales Support Associate

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Showroom Manager within the Sales department, the Sales Support Associate is responsible for collaborating with the Showroom Manager, Business Development Specialist, and customers. Duties include interfacing directly with clients as well as working collaboratively with the sales team to drive sales, providing exceptional customer service, thoughtful selections, and excellent follow-up with vendors and customers. Note: this will be a 1 year maternity cover contract with a possible opportunity to move into a full-time position



Responsibilities:



Effectively manages a high volume of email inquiries regarding stock, pricing, account access and deliveries Accurately processes quotes, orders and returns Manages customer account information Follows through with customer inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction Assists with customer reselects Forwards information to vendor, (VC Europe) Sales Support Resolves customer inquiries or forwards to the appropriate sales associate or manager Exhibits professionalism with customers, team members and all levels of leadership Provides back up to the showroom sales team: answering phones and greeting customers Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems. Exhibits and adheres to the established Visual Comfort Company Values. Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule. While being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams.

Qualifications:



1 - 3 years' previous experience in customer service 3 A levels, University degree preferred Strong aptitude for and proficiency navigating CRM and Order Management Systems Experience in interior design, custom home building products, luxury home furnishings and/or lighting industry a plus Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities Keen eye for design and creativity Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation Demonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat and phone Must have a positive, hardworking "can do" attitude and demonstrate a willingness to learn Available to work a flexible schedule Proficient in Microsoft Office programs Ability to use tools, climb ladders, and safely lift up to 20 lbs. Ability to follow safety and security standards.

Compensation:

18 GBP per hour
