We seek to appoint a committed and dynamic Home School Liaison Officer who has the relevant qualifications and proven experience of working with young people and their families. The role is to provide support, motivation and guidance to pupil and their families to overcome barriers and to raise levels of attendance.
The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the school's Pastoral and Attendance Teams to identify pupils with below expected attendance levels and initiate contact with parents/carers to identify and remove potential barriers to attendance.
The successful candidate will undertake daily home visits along with another member of staff to support and challenge parents/carers and pupils to attend school. They will initiate and implement attendance strategies, interventions and programmes of support to raise attendance levels of key cohorts of pupils across the whole school.

The successful candidate must have a full clean UK driving licence and access to a car on a daily basis.
