We're Hiring: Personal Assistant (PA) for Home-School Transport Term Time only

Southampton

Hours:

From 20 hrs weekly during term time only.

A Personal Assistant is required to transport SEN students to school during term time around the Southampton area.

Training will be provided and candidates must attend Safeguarding Level 1 and First Aid training, prior to starting, as well as co-operate with the requirements of the school.

7.30am -9.30am

14.30 - 16.30pm

Personal Assistants (PA)

to support children and young people on their journeys to and from school. This is a rewarding role, ideal for someone who enjoys making a difference and keeping people safe.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the welfare, comfort, and safety of passengers (primarily children and young people) during transport Assist passengers getting on and off the minibus safely Support the driver in ensuring a calm and positive atmosphere on board Communicate clearly and appropriately with children, parents/carers, and staff Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns

Desirable

Experience working with children or young people with

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Experience in a caring, educational, or support role
