The role of a Home Support Team Member will involve visiting people in their own homes, to assist with daily tasks a list of duties are listed below.
A valid driving licence and vehicle are essential for this role.
You will not be asked to work weekends, evenings or bank holidays.
Generally, you will work within a 10-mile radius of your home location; however, there may be times where you are asked to help in other areas.
The role does not include personal care.
Duties
Cleaning, using the client's equipment and products to clean all aspects of the client's property where required.
Shopping and running errands on the client's behalf can include; taking a list to the supermarket to get their weekly shop, putting shopping away, dropping post to post box, and general errands when required.
Accompanying the client whilst they complete errands when required.
Laundry bed changing and ironing
Carry out Home Assessments (once trained)
Other roles in assisting clients living at home (no personal care).
This role will provide clients with social visits to ensure they are not socially isolated and ensure their well-being on behalf of family members who are not living locally.
Collecting prescriptions
Maintain accurate records
Maintain regular communication with your line manager
