About the Role

Hanover are excited to be recruiting for a Home Support Worker in our Chandlers Court Very Sheltered Development in Elgin. This role involves working on a rota basis covering various shifts over three shift patterns.

About You

You will:


Have a genuine passion for helping people. Be able to demonstrate our values: inclusion, accountability, respect, collaboration. Be able to display empathy and recognise the rights of independence and choice. Be willing to work towards an SVQ and registration with SSSC as well as comply with regulatory standards and codes of practice. Be able to work as part of a team, covering a mix of early and late shifts. Be able to use Microsoft or equivalent applications competently. Be required to have a full and satisfactory PVG check prior to starting.

Main Responsibilities

Home Support Workers are responsible for providing personal care and housing support in line with care plans agreed by the customer. Assistance with personal mobility support, support with daily personal tasks and general housekeeping. Medication administration from level 1-4. Providing all aspects of care at home, on site, in accordance with Scottish Government guidelines.
