Home Support Worker
Job Description
Working within the Bourne and/or Stamford and surrounding areas, with occasional attendance in Stamford for training and meetings.
Working hours depend on the number of member visits arranged and can be discussed and agreed. The number of hours available depends upon the coverage area.
It is an exciting time to become one of our valued members of staff. Our Home Support Workers provide high quality domestic assistance to promote independence and provide companionship to older and vulnerable individuals, whilst providing a service that is much needed and appreciated.
Duties vary and can include working in a person-centred way to provide companionship, respite care, food preparation, domestic cleaning, pop in visits, laundry, shopping visits.
You will be working closely with our service users and their families, you will need to demonstrate, professionalism, empathy, and commitment.
Part-Time hours between the hours of 09.00-17.00 Monday to Friday with no bank holiday or weekend working required.
Home Support Workers operate within Health and Social Care legislation guidelines.

What you'll need
Previous experience in the support of older or vulnerable people in their own homes, working to plan and working as part of team would be beneficial but not essential as we will train and support you in this.
The successful applicant for this post will be subject to standard check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
