are currently hiring for a Homecare Technician to provide technical support in the Fife area, working out of our depot in Livingston. We are looking for someone to join our dynamic team to carry out the servicing of our patients and customers equipment.

The Homecare Technician position is field based with a day shift role covering 40 hours per week, with a shift pattern of:
Rotational 5 over 7 days, 8:30am - 5pm
The ideal candidate will have previous technician or technical experience (maintenance, servicing, repair, etc.), and all specific training will be provided.
Main duties and responsibilities:
To install, deliver, remove and service oxygen equipment to patients' homes
Ensure the equipment is functioning correctly and safely before leaving the patient's home
Carry out risk assessments to ensure safe installation
Educate patients and their caregivers on the proper use, care, and maintenance of oxygen equipment
Provide clear instructions on safety precautions related to oxygen therapy, including the dangers of smoking near oxygen
Perform scheduled maintenance checks on oxygen equipment to ensure they are working properly
Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed
Required candidate experience:
Previous technical experience (2 years), DIY tools, installation, maintenance, repair, servicing, etc.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
An Enhanced DBS (provided for you as part of the probation process)
