Ashford
area
, reporting each day out of the Ashford depot to restock. We are looking for someone to join our dynamic team to carry out the servicing and delivery of our patients and customers equipment. We offer a generous package including; 33 days holiday (including BH), a company vehicle, excellent training and development programs, enhanced maternity and paternity leave, yearly bonus scheme, as well as a starting salary of 25,680.
The Homecare Technician position is field based with a day shift role covering 40 hours per week, working five out of seven days, 8:30am - 5pm
The ideal candidate will have previous driving experience (deliveries), and any technical experience would be beneficial, but not required as all training is provided.
Main duties and responsibilities:
To install, deliver, remove and service oxygen equipment to patients' homes
Ensure the equipment is functioning correctly and safely before leaving the patient's home
Carry out risk assessments to ensure safe installation
Educate patients and their caregivers on the proper use, care, and maintenance of oxygen equipment
Provide clear instructions on safety precautions related to oxygen therapy, including the dangers of smoking near oxygen
Perform scheduled maintenance checks on oxygen equipment to ensure they are working properly
Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed
Required candidate experience:
Previous work-related driving experience
Any previous technical experience DIY tools, installation, maintenance, repair, servicing, etc. is desirable
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
An Enhanced DBS (provided for you as part of the probation process)
