EIL's immersion programmes include homestays and study abroad, training, cultural group and volunteer experiences.
Job overview:
We are seeking a highly organised Homestays Administrator to cover maternity leave as part of our Programmes Team .
The pay range is 24,000 to 30,000 pro rata and the hours (22.5hrs pw, 0.6fte) can be worked over 4 or 5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Sign up hosts for programmes
Help everyone involved in homestays stay safe and well
Provide admin support
Maintain accurate hosting records on EIL's databases and apps
Support hosts to provide homestay experiences that exceed participant's expectations
Champion hosts and homestays through stories in newsletters, blogs and social media
Collate host and participant feedback and prepare reports
Other duties within the scope and role of this post.
Key competencies:
- Excellent communication skills - strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in relationship management with strong advocacy skills
- Strong organisational/project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible person with a positive outlook
- Sound IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Previous experience of admin in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
