The role is one of several team leaders and managers who all report to the Horizon / ProLease Enterprise Practice Leader in the Professional Services team at MRI. We are a large team, with this role having functional consultant direct reports, and peers who lead project managers, other functional consultants, technical consultants, our BAU/Optimisation team and our Business Development function. You will work together with the other team leaders, and the Practice Leader, to deliver excellent outcomes for our internal and external stakeholders.
As a manager you will be responsible for providing leadership, mentoring and training to employees, while handling the distribution of work and ensuring projects are completed and implementations are successful according to project plans. Being a resource for escalations, participating in client committees, and cross departmental collaboration will be other key functions in this role, alongside driving team metrics including utilisation, revenue and client satisfaction.
Key areas of responsibility are:
Management ResponsibilitiesAchieving team utilisation and revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis Accurate and timely administrative tasks Delivery of customer experience at or above client and shareholder expectations for self and project team Support direct reports in their day to day work and career goals Assist with special projects and initiatives for the MRI Professional Services team Provide soft skill and presentation training and mentoring. In addition, coaching and support for the team on how to present professionally and deal with difficult situations Nurture the team and help attract, develop and retain top performers Develop strong relationships with other MRI teams and departments and be a respected team leader across the wider business Internal and external project escalation Work closely with the MRI Professional Service Practice Leader to develop revenue generating strategies and improve processes for MRI and client stakeholders

RequirementsStrong knowledge of the real estate sector, associated business rules, operating procedures and process best practices Functional Horizon / ProLease Enterprise knowledge is required. Ideally this would be to expert level across at least a selection of different business processes, however the extent of Horizon expertise can be further developed over time so the candidate's level of understanding can be discussed and accommodated on a case-by-case basis Ability to motivate and manage a team of consultants Excellent communication skills Enthusiastic team player Ability to work on multiple deliverables and priorities simultaneously Problem-solving skills and tenacity to resolve them Understanding of software implementation methodology Strong competency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint Ability to execute and implement MRI Professional Services departmental objectives Flexibility to travel as and when the need arises
